To Choose Spirit is to cultivate Reverence & Draw Close with the Divine’s Heartbeat in your Life, letting its pulse awaken the spiritual dimension of your own Living Heart

There is no distance to the Divine, no hill you must first climb; it is essentially a matter of how available & sincere your Heart is.

Within the human experience, the Divine seems to be an inscrutable paradox. It is elusive yet ever-present, personal yet transcendent, yielding yet unshakable. What is so challenging about Divine experience is also what makes it so extraordinary: its Absoluteness.

Choose Spirit explores & illuminates your relationship with this Absolute reality, as it articulates within your Life as Divine Love, Divine Presence, and Divine Will.

“For human beings, the most daunting challenge is to become fully human. For to become fully human is to become fully divine.”

FATHER THOMAS KEATING

Choose Spirit is for those

  • Desiring to deepen their authentic connection with the nature of Reality

  • Wanting to process life experiences or events through the lens of Divinity

  • Ready to create a more formal practice, set of rituals, or community to give greater structure & discipline to their spiritual life

  • Wanting to address a complex and potentially complicated relationship with the Divine, due to theological confusion, life changes, or religious wounding

I am currently adding to my 13 years of counseling education & clinical work with a 15-month certificate program in Spiritual Direction and a 2-year Ordained Interfaith Chaplaincy program.

I appreciate that Justin understands and empathizes with the intellectual complexities, existential crises, and general dysfunction inherent in modern life and culture -- and that he values and encourages the journey towards finding your authentic spiritual core. I think this spiritual core is part of the empowered journey of which he speaks: no matter how complicated and shitty life can be, we always have the power to access something true, beautiful, and good within, and we can condition ourselves to access this spiritual core on a regular basis.

I always knew that I had the capacity to access something sacred and heart-centered in this life, but I never fully realized the transformative power of striving to consciously access this depth on a regular basis. I also didn't realize that striving to access this depth regularly was/is one of my deepest longings, and this was valuable to name and claim.
